Typhoon Alert

We just lost power a couple of minutes ago…been up since 5am because the winds are banging against our window. Storm Signal no. 3 has been up since yesterday so I hope people were able to find a safe place to evacuate. The typhoon Mirinae (Santi) is about 60 Kms South of Metro Manila as of 4am morning and is packing about 130 kph winds near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph.

I’m preparing for my Shanghai trip towards the end of November so naturally, I would be preparing stuff to bring for the cold. According to Weather.com, we should be expecting the weather to be about 17 – 8C or 63-47F but since I’m going at the end of the month it would we about 14-6C or 57-43F.

I have to say that I’m not totally impressed with this latest offering since I really prefer the aluminum unibody of the Macbook Pro with the extra speed and memory plus twice the hard disk space but I totally understand where Apple is coming from when they brought it back.

Yep I bought it, I don’t know what possessed me to do it. I was just accompanying a friend to the boutique in Louis Vuitton the other night. I was looking at the Keepall Naxos that was displayed on the top shelf of the store when the sales associated chatted me up about the bag, I told her that although it’s nice I don’t think I would spend that much for it, but I might reconsider if it the Monogram Revelation Keepall instead. She just smiled and said she will be back in a few minutes, I was surprised when she stepped out of the back room carrying THE BAG!
